2018 Performance Information
We do not yet have the 2018 national statistics but 2017 national data is included below.
83% of pupils attained the Good Level of Development (expected standard) against a national standard of 70%. (All but 2 pupils attained this expected standard.)
92% of pupils attained the expected standard in Reading. (77% nationally) One child did not.
92% of pupils attained the expected standard in Maths number focus. (79% nationally) One child did not.
83% of pupils attained the expected standard in Writing. (73% nationally) This is why our GLD is 83% as children must achieve the expected standard in all three areas. Two children did not achieve the expected standard.
We are delighted with the good start that our youngest pupils have made in our school.
Key Stage 1 Performance 2018
Year 1 - The percentage of pupils passing the phonics screen in the 2018 assessment is:
Phonics Screen - 88% (national 81%) 2 children with reading difficulties did not pass.
Year 2 - The percentage of pupils achieving 'Age Related Expectations' or above in the 2018 Key Stage 1 assessments by subject are as follows:
Reading – 72% (national 76%) This is one child below the national average.
Writing – 66% (national 68%) This is less than one child below the national average.
Maths – 72% (national 75%) This is less than one child below the national average.

Reading - 28% (national 25%)
Writing - 32% (national 16%)
Maths - 39% (national 21%)
We are delighted that our children achieved a standard double the national average in writing and almost double in maths.
Key Stage 2 Performance
There were 19 pupils in the Year 6 cohort. 1 pupil had Special Educational Needs (5%) and was not subject to SATS tests. The percentage of pupils achieving 'Age Related Expectations' or above in the 2018 Key Stage 2 tests by subject:
Reading – 89% (national 71%) - there is a re-mark pending for one script which may increase this result to 95%. 2 pupils did not achieve the expected standard - one having SEN.
Writing – 89% (national 76%)
Maths – 95% (national 75%) 1 pupil with SEN did not achieve the standard.
EGPS - 95% (national 79%)
Combined RWM - 89% (national 61%)
This is almost 30% above the national standard.
